Formed in Los Angeles, CA in 1977, punk legends Fear were responsible for shaping the sound of California hardcore punk. In his early years, Fear frontman Lee Ving began learning country influenced guitar in Philadelphia with his teacher Anne Brown. It was during this class he heard the song \"Guitar Boogie\" played on a Gibson Les Paul and shortly after was making arrangements with his parents to purchase his very first Gibson.
